The holiday season is here and we are in full rush mode. Although I am feeling the rush of the season and I can see how easily the true reason for the season (Christ's birth) can be lost, to me, it really is a constant reminder of Christ birth and the sacrifice that the father made by sending his only son to save us. I look at Peyton and Parker-Reese faces and I know that I could not make that sacrifice and I am even more thankful that I am a child of Christ and that he loves me.
Right now we are in Birmingham and will be here until Tuesday. There is no end in sight for our traveling. As a mater of fact, we are only at home for one weekend out of the whole month of December. Last night on the way to Birmingham Peyton asked to watch Peter Man. To most the is the Disney character affectionately know as Peter Pan. I love that he has his own language. I love to see things through the eyes of my almost three year old. Anyway, just a few thoughts while we are in lovely Birmingham. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
