Well, I am officially exhausted! I don't say that very often, but today I say it loud and proud. This weekend was the 24 hour sew-a-thon. For those of you that have known me pre-kids, I know that you are screaming WHAT right about now. But, yes I sew. I make most of Peyton and Parker-Reese's clothes. It is something that I never would have thought I could do, but I have been very blessed to have been plugged in to a wonderful group of women that love the Lord and are willing to share their vast knowledge of sewing with me. Mrs. Theresa (one of the most generous and hospitable women that I know) opens her home to us women each year from 5:30 pm on Friday until 5:30 pm on Saturday. She allows us to overtake her home while she and her husband sleep in their shed and we sew, share stories and receive the greatest gift of all, time to fellowship with women. Michael had a great time with Peyton and Parker-Reese. I came home to a clean house and dinner on the table. You can't ask for much more than that. Even though I am exhausted, I also feel refreshed. I love the women in Sewing Circle and am always encouraged by them. I learn something from each of them and truly admire them in different ways. My hope is that every woman would be able to come together with other women (like we do) in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.
